The KPC Group and
Government of West Bengal, India to Establish a World-class Special Economic
Zone for Knowledge Zone, Kolkata

RIVERSIDE, California (February 18, 2008) – The KPC Group of
Companies (KPCGC), owned by Dr. Kali P. Chaudhuri, announced today that it has entered into a Development
Agreement with the Government of West Bengal, India to establish a regional hub
for Knowledge Enterprises in the Rajarhat area near Kolkata. West Bengal
Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC) is the nodal agency of the
Government that will form a Joint Venture with ITeMAX, Inc. (A fully owned
subsidiary of The KPC Group of Companies) to execute the project. A KPC Group
representative said that the Special Economic Zone will be called
“KnowldgeZone” and will be initially developed on 50 acres of land. The
representative further added that The KPC Group is in active discussions with
